Well now what can I tell you about Riley....
She was the most gentle, sweet,clever,cunning girl and a master at getting her own way. Patient and smart she woudl bide her time and eventually win. Most of all she would hold a grudge for weeks (like her mum) and I loved her dearly.
Like all of my bitches she loved being a mother, a grandmother and was the most patient dog I have seen with puppies.
Often she would go into the puppy enclosure to help clean up or lay on the ground to play with the babies. She would provide gentle correction to the babies when needed.
Riley was with us for 13.5 years and was a lovely combination of English,American, Australian and NZ lines and we miss her dearly as the matriarch of the kennel, a role she inherited from her mother Brydee.
She was the Dam of;
